  2. CHART MENU HELP
  3. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  5. The Chart Menu on the Worksheet is used to specify the 8 available
  6. Charts, or to Remove a Chart.  When a Chart is drawn in the Chart
  7. Drawing Window, four other Menus are available:
  8.  
  9. *  Chart Control - for specifying titles, printing Charts, and
  10.    outputting in IFF format
  11.  
  12. *  Chart Type - for changing the Chart type drawn in the Chart
  13.    Drawing Window
  14.  
  15. *  Chart Options - for specifing the options available for each
  16.    Chart Type
  17.  
  18. *  Colors - for changing the color of the Chart background,
  19.    titles, text, and lines.
  20.  
  21. CHART CONTROL MENU ITEMS

  24. Specify                                          
  25. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  27. Displays the Chart Specifications Requester window for keying in
  28. Chart titles, selection of Rows and Columns for Labels and Legends,
  29. adjusting scaling, and changing Row and Column orientation.

  32. Print                                            
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  35. Outputs the Chart to a printer. Be sure to Expand the size of
  36. the Chart Drawing window to its maximum in order to obtain 
  37. the largest possible image.  If you have a color printer, be
  38. sure your printer Preferences are set to print in color.

  40. Print can also be accessed with:  Right Amiga Key with P
  41.                                   F2 with the Shift Key.

  44. Capture                                           
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  47. The Capture selection will save the current screen image to a file
  48. in IFF ILBM (InterLeaved Bit Map) format.  This format is compatible
  49. with Deluxe Paint, so you may use Deluxe Paint or any other IFF
  50. compatible paint programs to enhance your Chart with other type
  51. fonts and illustrations.  When Capture is selected, a file selector
  52. will appear so you may specify the Capture file name and location.

  56. Palette

  59. Displays a Color Bar Selector for changing Colors of the Worksheet
  60. and the Chart.

  66. The Close menu selection will close the Chart Drawing window. 
  67. It has the same effect as clicking on the close box in the top
  68. left corner of the Chart window.

  71. CHART TYPE MENU ITEMS

  73. The Chart Drawing Window has a Menu listing of all of the available
  74. Chart Types in Plan/IT.  To change the Chart Type of the Chart
  75. drawn, simply select a different Menu Item.

  77. CHART OPTIONS MENU ITEMS
  78.  
  79. Each particular Chart Type has different options.
  80. The options available though not applicable to each Chart Type
  81. are:

  84. *  Edges
  85. *  Grid Lines
  86. *  0.0 Break
  87. *  Scale
  88. *  Smart Labels
  89. *  Symbols
  90. *  3 Variables

  96. Five items are available for changing the color of the
  97. Chart border, titles, text, data area, and lines.
